Inviting an Existing Multi Me User to Join a Circle

As a Buddy, you can invite someone who already has a Multi Me account to join a Supported User's Circle.

You can invite people from the Supported User's Groups or search for other Multi Me users who have made their profiles public.

How to Invite an Existing User

1. Log in to Multi Me using your Buddy account.

2. Go to My Stuff → My Circle.

3. Under Circles I Manage, open the Supported User's Circle.

4. Click Invite Users and choose Invite Existing User.

5. The Invite User window will display people from the Supported User's Groups.

6. Select the person you want to invite. A green tick will appear on their profile picture.

7. Click Select.

8. Choose their Circle Category, such as Friends, Family, Support or Other.

9. Add a relationship or role description if needed.

10. Click Send Invitation.

Inviting Someone Outside the Supported User's Groups

You can also search for people elsewhere on Multi Me, including users outside the Supported User's organisation.

1. Open the Invite User window.

2. Switch on Show all public Users.

3. Enter the person's username in the search box.

4. Select the correct person from the results.

5. Click Select.

6. Choose their Circle Category and send the invitation.

Note: Only users who have chosen to make their profiles visible in public searches will appear in these results.

What Happens Next?

The person will receive a notification in their Multi Me Alerts.

They can choose to:

• Accept the invitation and join the Supported User's Circle.

• Reject the invitation.

Once accepted, they will appear as a member of the Circle.

What Can New Circle Members Access?

Joining a Circle does not automatically give someone access to all the Supported User's private information.

Additional access to their Wiki, Diary, Goals and other areas can be managed separately by someone with the appropriate permissions.

Wherever possible, involve the Supported User in deciding who joins their Circle.
