There are different ways to invite people to join your Circle, depending on whether they are already connected to your organisation or are completely new to Multi Me.
Inviting People Already Connected to Your Portal or Groups
If someone is already part of groups or communities shared with you through your portal, you may be able to invite them directly to join your Circle.
Depending on your portal settings, your Buddy may need to approve the invitation before the person is added to your Circle.
Inviting People From Outside Your Portal or Groups
If you want to invite someone who is not already connected to your portal or shared groups, this must usually be done by your Buddy.
Your Buddy can:
Invite existing Multi Me users from outside your portal or groups to join your Circle.
Invite new people to register for a Multi Me account and join your Circle by email.
What Happens When Someone Is Invited?
The invited person will receive an email from Multi Me with:
Information about the invitation
A link to join or register
Instructions for accessing Multi Me through:
A web browser
The Multi Me smartphone app
Access and Privacy
People who join your Circle do not automatically get access to your private information.
By default, Circle members:
Can see posts, messages, and updates shared with the Circle
Cannot access private areas such as Wikis, Diaries, Goals, or other personal content unless permissions are later granted
