My Wiki is your personal multimedia profile on Multi Me. It helps you tell your story, share what's important to you and explain how you like to be supported.
You can use pictures, videos, words and audio to create your own person-centred plan.
What can I put in My Wiki?
Your Wiki can include:
About Me – who you are and what makes you unique.
My likes and interests – the things you enjoy.
My communication – how you communicate and express yourself.
My support needs – what helps you and how others can support you.
My hopes and dreams – what you would like for your future.
My achievements – things you're proud of.
And anything else that's important to you!
There is no set way to create a Wiki. Everyone is different, so every Wiki should be different too.
Your Wiki should be as unique as you are, reflecting your personality, your experiences, your choices and what matters most to you.
How is it organised?
Your Wiki is organised into Sections and Pages. Sections can contain Pages or be divided into Subsections. You can also create Subsections within Subsections.
Each Page can contain text, pictures, video, audio and attachments. A Section can have multiple Pages, which you can scroll through.
Who can see My Wiki?
You can share your Wiki with people in My Circle, giving them access to the information you choose.
You can also share your Wiki with people who don't have a Multi Me account using a secure email access link.
Your Buddies can help you create, manage and share your Wiki.
Developed in partnership with RIX
The My Wiki feature in Multi Me is inspired by the original RIX Wiki, a pioneering multimedia advocacy tool developed by the RIX Centre at the University of East London.
Building on the original RIX Wiki, My Wiki incorporates additional features and integrates with other Multi Me tools, including My Circle, My Diary and My Goals, helping people connect their personal stories, support plans and aspirations in one place.
Multi Me has been developed in partnership with RIX Inclusive Research, bringing together our shared commitment to accessible, multimedia person-centred planning.
