As a Buddy of a Supported User, you can help manage their Circle and support network.

What Can a Buddy Do?

A Buddy can:

  • Edit Circle memberships

  • Invite people to join the Circle:

    • By email

    • Through Multi Me

  • Set up access to a Supported User’s Stuff such as:

    • Wiki

    • Goals

    • Diary

    • Media

  • Add Circle members into categories such as:

    • Friends

    • Family

    • Professional

    • Other

  • Give people Buddy status

  • Add a role for Circle members, for example:

    • Parent

    • Teacher

    • Support Worker

    • Key Worker

  • Manage what Circle members can access and see

Managing Access

Buddies can help decide who has access to different areas of a Supported User’s Stuff.

For example, a Buddy may allow someone to:

  • View a Wiki

  • Access a Diary

  • Help with Goals

  • Join chats or shared activities

This helps keep the Supported User’s information private, safe, and personalised.
