Inviting Someone New to Multi Me to Join a Circle

Modified on Fri, 30 Oct at 8:51 PM

As a Buddy, you can invite someone who doesn't already have a Multi Me account to register and join a Supported User's Circle.

This could be a family member, friend, support worker or another trusted person.

How to Send an Invitation

  1. Log in to Multi Me using your Buddy account.

  2. Go to My Stuff → My Circle.

  3. Under Circles I Manage, open the Supported User's Circle.

  4. Click Invite Users.

  5. Select Invite to Register.

  6. Enter the person's email address.

  7. Choose their Circle Category, such as Family, Friends, Support or Other.

  8. Add a description of their relationship or role, if needed (for example, Mum, Teacher or Support Worker).

  9. Click Send Invitation.

What Happens Next?

The person will receive an email inviting them to register with Multi Me.

Once they have registered and accepted the invitation, they will become a member of the Supported User's Circle.

They can then access Multi Me through a web browser or the Multi Me mobile app.

What Can They See?

Joining a Circle does not automatically give someone access to private information.

New Circle members can see information that has been shared with them, but they do not automatically have access to the Supported User's:

  • Wiki

  • Diary

  • Goals

  • Other private information

A Buddy or someone with the appropriate permissions can manage additional access where needed.

Keeping the Circle Safe

Only invite people the Supported User knows and trusts. Wherever possible, involve them in deciding who joins their Circle and what information is shared.
