Creating and Managing Circle Groups

Modified on Fri, 30 Oct at 9:02 PM

A Supported User or their Buddy can create Groups within the Supported User's Circle.

Circle Groups help organise people into smaller networks, such as family, friends or support staff, and control which Circle members can see and connect with each other.

How to Create a Circle Group

  1. Log in to Multi Me and open the Supported User's Profile.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Username's Groups.

  3. Click Create New Group.

  4. Enter a name for your Group, such as Family, Friends or Support Team.

  5. Complete any optional settings if needed.

  6. Click Create.

Your new Group will now appear in the Supported User's Groups area.

Adding Circle Members to a Group

Once you have created a Group:

  1. Open the Group you want to manage.

  2. Choose the option to invite or add members.

  3. Select the people from the Supported User's Circle that you want to include.

  4. Confirm your selection.

You can create several Groups to organise different people within the Circle.

How Circle Groups Protect Privacy

Circle Groups help control which members can see and connect with each other.

  • People in the same Circle Group can see and connect with other members of that Group, subject to their permissions.

  • People who are not in the same Circle Group cannot automatically see or access each other's profiles through the Circle.

  • Being a member of a Circle Group does not automatically give someone access to private information such as a Wiki, Diary or Goals.

This helps the Supported User maintain different relationships and support networks while protecting their privacy.

Tip: Wherever possible, involve the Supported User in deciding who belongs in each Group.
