Wiki Admin Access and Buddy Privileges

Multi Me allows authorised users to help manage another person's Wiki.

What Can a Wiki Admin Do?

Someone with Admin access to a Wiki can:

  • View and edit Wiki content.

  • Create, edit, move and delete Wiki Sections and Pages.

  • Manage who can view or edit the Wiki using Manage Access.

  • Manage Wiki settings.

Buddy Access

A Buddy of a Supported User automatically has full Admin access to their Wiki.

This allows them to help the Supported User create, organise and maintain their personal information.

Role-Based Access (RBA)

Staff members may also receive Wiki permissions through their organisation's Role-Based Access settings.

Depending on their assigned role, they may have:

  • View – Read Wiki content.

  • Edit – Create and update Wiki content.

  • Admin – Full Wiki management permissions.

  • No Access – No access through that role.

These organisational permissions are managed by the Portal Admin.

Additional Wiki access can also be granted through the Supported User's Circle or the Wiki's Manage Access feature.

Important

  • Buddy access includes full Wiki Admin privileges.

  • Organisational Role-Based Access permissions cannot be removed through the Wiki's Manage Access feature.

  • Only give people the access they need, respecting the Supported User's privacy and choices.
