As a Wiki Admin or Buddy, you may be assigned the task of reviewing a person’s Wiki.

The Wiki Review feature helps ensure that the information within the Wiki is accurate, up to date, and formally reviewed for audit and quality assurance purposes.

If you have been assigned a Wiki review for a supported person, you will receive a notification in your Multi Me Alertssection. Clicking the alert will take you directly to the Wiki that requires review.

Opening a Wiki Review

When you open the Wiki as a reviewer, you will see a review status bar displayed above the Wiki, for example:

In Progress — 11th May 2026 to 18th May 2026 — 0 / 35 Sections Reviewed

This shows:

  • The current review status

  • The review timeframe

  • How many sections have been reviewed so far

If the review is not completed within the review period, the status will change to Overdue, and Wiki Admins will be notified.

How Wiki Reviews Work

Wikis are reviewed section by section rather than page by page.

To begin reviewing:

  1. Click on a Wiki section.

  2. The review status bar will display the option to Review Section and show how many pages are contained within that section.

  3. Carefully review all pages and information within the section.

  4. Check that the information is accurate, relevant, and still reflects the person’s current support needs and circumstances.

  5. Make any required updates where appropriate.

  6. When you have finished reviewing the section, click Review Section.

  7. Confirm that the section has been reviewed and add review comments summarising your findings.

Things to Consider During a Review

Review comments may include things such as:

  • Whether information is accurate and up to date

  • Changes in the person’s needs, goals, preferences, or routines

  • Updates to communication methods or support strategies

  • Changes in health needs, medication, risks, or mobility

  • New achievements, progress, or outcomes

  • Whether goals and actions are still appropriate

  • Changes in relationships, family involvement, or support networks

  • Any safeguarding concerns or important incidents

  • Missing information that still needs to be added

  • Sections that require further discussion with the person, family, or professionals

  • Areas where support approaches may need adjusting

  • Confirmation that information has been discussed with and reflects the wishes of the person supported

The review process should support meaningful person-centred planning, not simply act as a tick-box exercise.

Completing the Review

Continue reviewing the Wiki section by section until all sections have been completed.

Once all sections have been reviewed, the overall Wiki Review status will automatically change to Complete and display in green.

All review comments and review activity can be exported and reported on using the Wiki Log feature.
