Reviewing a Wiki

As a Wiki Admin or Buddy, you may be asked to review a Supported User's Wiki.

Wiki Reviews help make sure information is accurate, up to date and reflects the person's current needs, wishes and preferences.

Starting a Wiki Review

If you have been assigned a review, you will receive a notification in your Multi Me Alerts.

1. Open your Alerts.

2. Click the Wiki Review notification.

3. This will take you to the Wiki that needs reviewing.

A Review Status Bar will appear above the Wiki, showing:

• The review dates

• The current review status

• How many Wiki Sections have been reviewed

If the review is not completed by the deadline, its status changes to Overdue, and Wiki Admins are notified.

How to Review Wiki Sections

Wikis are reviewed section by section, rather than page by page.

1. Open a Wiki Section.

2. Look for the Review Section option in the review status bar.

3. Read through all the Pages within that Section.

4. Check that the information is accurate, relevant and up to date.

5. Make any necessary changes if you have editing access.

6. Click Review Section when you have finished.

7. Confirm the review and add comments about your findings.

Repeat these steps for each Section of the Wiki.

What Should You Check?

When reviewing a Wiki, consider whether:

• The person's wishes, preferences and routines are up to date.

• Their communication and support needs are accurately described.

• Health, safety and support information needs updating.

• Their goals, achievements and progress are reflected.

• Relationships and support networks have changed.

• Any important information is missing.

• The person has been involved in reviewing their information wherever possible.

You can also use the Review Comments to record changes made, outstanding actions or anything that needs further discussion.

Remember: A Wiki Review should be a meaningful, person-centred process, not simply a tick-box exercise.

Completing the Wiki Review

Continue until all Wiki Sections have been reviewed.

Once every Section has been completed, the overall review status automatically changes to Complete and appears in green.

Review Records and Audit

All review activity and comments are recorded.

You can view and export this information using the Wiki Log feature for auditing, reporting and quality assurance.
