What Buddies Can Do with a Supported User's Goals

Modified on Mon, 2 Nov at 6:52 PM

A Buddy automatically has full Admin access to all Goals belonging to a Supported User.

This allows Buddies to help the person plan, work towards and record progress on their personal Goals.

What can a Buddy do?

As a Buddy, you can:

  • Create new Goals on behalf of a Supported User.

  • Create Steps within Goals to help the person work towards their objectives.

  • Edit and manage existing Goals and Steps.

  • Manage Goal access, including who can view, contribute to or manage Goals.

  • Link Diary entries to Goal Steps as evidence of activities, achievements and progress.

  • Export Goals to PDF for reviews, meetings or personal records.

Recording Progress Towards Goals

For example, if a Supported User takes part in a cooking activity, their Buddy can add photos and a description to their Diary and link the entry to a relevant Goal Step.

This helps build a multimedia record of the person's achievements and progress over time.

Important

Buddies automatically have Admin access to all of a Supported User's Goals. Other users may also be given access through individual Goal sharing or organisational Role-Based Access permissions.
