How to Create a Diary (Notes) Template in Your Portal


Access Diary Templates

  1. Log in as a Portal Admin
  2. Go to the Portal Admin Area
  3. Click Templates in the main menu
  4. Select Diary Templates

This will show your list of Diary templates.

  • You may see templates already shared with your Portal
  • If you expected to see a template but it’s missing, contact info@multime.com for support

Create a new Diary template

  1. Click Create Template
  2. Enter a Template Name (e.g. “Service Name Diary Template”)
  3. Deselect default options such as Home and School if not needed
  4. Click Create

Your template will now appear at the top of the list.


Add content to your template

Your template starts blank, so you’ll need to add content:

  1. Click the template name to open it
  2. Create a new Log (tab) (e.g. “Daily Notes”)
  3. Add questions, for example:
    • “Did I have a good night’s sleep?”

You can:

  • Add prompts and descriptions for staff
  • Use different answer types (e.g. checkboxes)
  • Create multiple questions per log

Additional options

  • Create up to 6 Logs (tabs) per template
  • Add Forms to logs (e.g. Incident/Accident forms, mileage logs)
  • Digitise any structured recording you need

Note:
The multimedia blog area is not included in templates, as it is freeform and available to all users by default.


Save your template

When you’ve finished:

  1. Click Save (top right)

Your Diary Template is now ready to be assigned to users.
