Create a Wiki Template and Share It with Users in Your Portal


Create your Wiki

  1. Log in as a Portal Admin
  2. Go to My Stuff → Wikis
  3. Click Create Wiki

Build your template by adding:

  • Sections and subsections
  • Images, videos, and audio
  • Documents and resources
  • Page tooltips and guidance

Turn your Wiki into a Template

  1. When your Wiki is ready, click Edit (pencil icon)
  2. Next to the Wiki name, click the settings pencil icon
  3. This opens the Edit Wiki Settings pop-up
  4. Switch on “Wiki Template”

⚙️ Template Settings

  • You can choose to fix headings (main menu) and subheadings
    • This prevents users from changing the structure or names
    • Users can still:
      • Add their own sections
      • Change icons
      • Personalise content
  • The Template Name defaults to your Wiki name
    • You can edit this
    • You can also add a template description
  1. Click Save

✅ What happens next

Your Wiki will now appear in the Wiki Templates section in the Portal Admin area, where it can be shared with users.

Portal Admins can access:

  • All templates created within their Portal
  • Global templates provided by Multi Me (available to all users)
