How to Bind a Wiki Template to Users in Your Portal

  1. Log in as a Portal Admin
  2. Go to the Portal Admin Area
  3. Click Templates in the Portal Options menu
  4. Select Wiki Templates

You’ll see:

  • Global templates (marked “global”) available to all users
  • Portal templates created within your organisation

Bind a template to users

  1. In the row of the Wiki Template you want to bind, go to the Bound Users column and click + Bind
  2. Select one or more users (bulk selection available)
  3. Confirm your selection

If you can’t see your Wiki template listed here, it may not have been marked as a template yet.

⚠️ Important

If a user already has a Wiki with content, you will be prompted to choose:

  • Create new Wiki (keeps existing content)
  • Overwrite existing Wiki (permanently deletes current content)
  • Cancel

This process is handled per user, with a progress bar showing status.

? Warning

Overwriting a Wiki will permanently delete existing content and cannot be undone.
Only proceed with explicit consent from the user or their guardian.
