Creating a Group Holiday to Pause Repeating Calendar Events

Modified on Wed, 4 Nov at 9:06 PM

You can create a Group Holiday to temporarily hide repeating Calendar events during holidays or other planned breaks.

For example, you might want to pause a group's regular activities during the summer holidays without deleting them.

Creating a Group Holiday

  1. Open My Calendar.

  2. Click Create Group Holiday.

  3. Select the Group or Groups whose repeating events you want to pause.

  4. Choose the holiday start and end dates.

  5. Enter a name, such as Summer Holiday.

  6. Add a description if you wish.

  7. Click Create.

The holiday will appear at the top of your Calendar, covering the selected dates.

Repeating events belonging to the selected Groups will automatically be hidden during this period.

Editing a Group Holiday

  1. Find the holiday at the top of your Calendar.

  2. Click the pencil icon.

  3. Change the holiday dates or other details as needed.

  4. Save your changes.

The Calendar will automatically adjust which repeating events are hidden.

Deleting a Group Holiday

To remove a holiday, open it and click Delete.

The repeating events that were hidden during the holiday period will reappear.

Important: Creating a Group Holiday does not delete your repeating events. It simply pauses their appearance in the Calendar during the selected dates.
