Creating Repeat Events with Different Times Using Advanced Schedule

Modified on Wed, 4 Nov at 9:19 PM

You can create a repeating Calendar event that takes place on different days of the week, with different start and finish times.

For example, you might schedule a lunchtime activity every weekday, but at slightly different times on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Creating the Repeat Event

  1. Open My Calendar and click New Event.

  2. Choose the event type (Personal, Group or Community).

  3. Enter the event name, add a picture if you wish, and set the first date and time.

  4. Under Advanced Settings, switch on Repeat Event.

  5. Select Days of the Week from the repeat options.

  6. Choose the days when the event should repeat.

  7. Switch on Advanced Schedule.

  8. Set the start and finish times for each selected day.

  9. Click Create.

Your event will now appear in the Calendar on the selected days, at the times you have specified.

Changing the Schedule

  1. Open any occurrence of the repeating event in your Calendar.

  2. Click the pencil icon beside the schedule.

  3. Make your changes.

  4. Choose whether the changes should apply to:

    • This event only

    • Future events

    • All past and future events

  5. Save your changes.
