The Mass Assign feature allows you to add or remove users across multiple RBA Tables at the same time.

This is particularly useful for larger organisations where staff, managers or senior leaders need access across several services or groups of Supported Users.

Instead of opening and editing each Table individually, you can make the change across all the relevant Tables in one action.

How to Mass Assign Users

1. Select your RBA Tables

Click the checkbox to the left of each Table name that you want to update.

If you want to update every RBA Table in your Portal, click Select All.

2. Click Users

Once you have selected your Tables, click the Users button at the top right of the page, next to the Add Table button.

3. Choose Add or Remove Users

Choose whether you want to:

Add Users — add users to all of the selected Tables.

Remove Users — remove users from all of the selected Tables.

4. Choose the Role or User Type

Use the dropdown menu to select the Role or user type that you want to add or remove.

For example, you might select:

  • Support Worker

  • Key Worker

  • Service Manager

  • Senior Manager

  • CEO

  • Table Admin

  • Supported User

Click Next.

5. Select the Users

Select the users you want to add or remove.

Once you're happy with your selection, click Add or Remove.

Your Tables Will Now Be Updated

Multi Me will apply the change across all of the RBA Tables you selected.

You'll see a progress bar while the action is being completed across the Tables.

Once complete, your selected users will have been added to, or removed from, all of the selected RBA Tables.

Example: Giving a CEO Organisation-Wide Access

For example, you may want your CEO or a Senior Manager to have access to Insights and Reports across the whole organisation.

First, go to Manage Roles and create an appropriate role, such as CEO.

Give that role the appropriate permissions, including access to Insights and Reports.

Then:

  1. Go to RBA Tables.

  2. Click Select All to select all Tables in the organisation.

  3. Click Users.

  4. Select Add Users.

  5. Select the CEO Role.

  6. Select your CEO and click Add.

Multi Me will then add that person to the CEO Role across all of your RBA Tables.

This means they can have the appropriate higher-level access to Insights and Reports across the Supported Users represented by those Tables, without you having to add them to every Table individually.

TIP: Think of Mass Assign as a quick way of applying the same access arrangement across many RBA Tables. Create the Role and its permissions first, select the Tables, then Mass Assign the appropriate users to that Role.
