Keeping your Multi Me account secure

Modified on Thu, 22 Oct at 10:16 AM

Your Multi Me account is your personal space. It may contain photos, messages and information about your life.

Here are some simple ways to help keep your account safe.

 Keep your password private

  • Choose a password that is difficult for other people to guess.

  • Don't share your password with other people.

  • If someone helps you use Multi Me, make sure it's someone you trust.

Use two-step sign-in

Two-step sign-in adds an extra layer of security to your account.

Even if someone knows your password, they will need another way to confirm it's really you before signing in.

You can use email confirmation, your phone or a passkey.

We recommend turning on two-step sign-in to help protect your account.

Check where you're signed in

Multi Me lets you see which devices are signed in to your account.

It's a good idea to check this list occasionally.

If you see a device you don't recognise, you can sign it out.

Be careful on shared devices

If you use Multi Me on a computer, tablet or phone that other people also use:

  • Sign out when you've finished.

  • Don't save your password on a shared device.

  • Make sure other people cannot access your account without your permission.

⚠️ If something doesn't look right

If you think someone else may have accessed your account:

  1. Change your password.

  2. Check where you're signed in and sign out of any devices you don't recognise.

  3. Tell someone you trust or contact Multi Me Support if you need help.

Need help?

If you're unsure about any of these steps, ask someone you trust to help you.
