What Buddies and Diary Admins Can Do

Modified on Mon, 2 Nov at 2:53 PM

Multi Me allows authorised people to help Supported Users manage their Diaries.

What Can a Diary Admin Do?

Someone with Admin access to a Diary can:

  • View and manage Diary content.

  • Create, edit and manage Diary Posts.

  • Create and manage Diary Logs and Forms.

  • Manage who can view or contribute to the Diary.

  • Change Diary Settings, including creating new Logs and organising Diary content.

  • Export Diary content to PDF to create downloadable reports and records.

Buddy Access

A Buddy automatically has full Admin access to a Supported User's Diary.

This allows them to help the person record experiences, complete Diary Logs, manage information and share appropriate content with others.

Buddies can access the Diaries of Supported Users they manage through their Multi Me account.

Role-Based Access (RBA)

Staff may also receive Diary permissions through their organisation's Role-Based Access (RBA) system.

Depending on their assigned role, they may have:

  • View: Read Diary content they have permission to access.

  • Edit: View and contribute to Diary content.

  • Admin: Full administrative access to the Diary.

  • No Access: No Diary access through that role.

These permissions are managed by the organisation's Portal Admin.

Managing Diary Access

Diary access can also be managed through the Diary's Manage Access feature or from the Supported User's Circle → Manage Access page.

Important: Buddy and RBA permissions may provide access independently of individual Diary sharing settings. Only share personal information with people who need access to support the individual.
