What is your Profile?
Your Profile is your personal page in Multi Me.
It may include:
• Your profile picture (if added)
• Your username
• Your first name / last name (if added)
• Your “Add to your profile” Story section and any information you have added there (if you have created one)
• The “Invite to join my Circle” option
You can control who sees your Profile using the Profile Visibility setting in your account.

If you choose “Hide my Profile” in your account settings, your profile becomes Private. Who can see a Private profile? Your profile can only be seen by people who: • Are in your Circle • Share the same Groups as you | If you do not choose “Hide my Profile,” your profile will be Public. Who can see a Public profile? All the same people who can see Private profiles: • Users in your Groups • Users in your Circle Plus: • Other Public users outside your Groups and Circle may see your profile through: – Activity feeds – Profile likes – Comments – Shared links |
How Group membership works
You may share Groups with other users in a few different ways:
a) Portal administrator
You may be placed into Groups by your service or organisation administrator.
b) Group requests
You may request to join Groups.
If you are a Supported User, your Buddy can allow, disallow, or veto these requests in Permissions settings.
Why choose a Public profile?
Having a Public profile can be useful when you want to:
• Find people outside your usual Groups
• Join staff training Groups
• Join organisation-wide Groups
• Connect with people before joining Circles
This can help you connect more easily across your organisation and wider Multi Me network.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PUBLIC PROFILES
Even when your profile is Public, it remains secure.
- Public means visible to other logged-in Multi Me users only
- Your profile is not visible to the general internet
- Your profile cannot be accessed without logging into Multi Me
Circle invitations
If your profile is Public:
• Other users can invite you to join their Circle
• Buddies can send invitations on behalf of Supported Users
• Invitations can be sent using Invite user > Show public users
SUMMARY
Private
Only users in your Circle or shared Groups can see your profile
Public
Circle + Groups + other Public Multi Me users via feeds, likes, comments, and invitations

Choose Private if you prefer a smaller, familiar network
Choose Public if you want to connect more easily with other Multi Me users
